Planning Obligation Negotiations (Section 106)

Planning obligations are often payable from new developments, subject to their scale and viability. The level of obligations (affordable housing and financial contributions) are subject to negotiation, requests for planning obligations and require scrutiny.

P&DG can advise on the acceptability or otherwise of querying planning obligations and have a successful track record of negotiating a reduction in planning obligations, where appropriate to do so.
