Expertise: Consultation Website Hosting, Graphic Design, Public Exhibitions and WorkshopsThe site is located within the East Side Regeneration Area and the City’s Creative Quarter and marked a transitional area between the City Centre and residential neighbourhoods. The redevelopment of the site sought to regenerate and bring together these distinct character areas enhancing the visual appearance of the site and placemaking opportunities.
The sensitivities of the sites location and the nature of the proposed use generated interest and opposition from local residents however through an insightful public engagement P&DG were able to demonstrate the public benefits of the proposal.
